Together with Sinch, we can help our customers expand their reach and increase engagement through additional communication channels.
The Pathwire family joins Sinch
Sinch started in Stockholm in 2008 and has grown into an established company international communications powerhouse supplies companies such as Nespresso and Macy's around the world. Its platform enables businesses to reach any mobile phone in the world via mobile messaging, voice and video in seconds or less. With a local presence in more than 40 countries, Sinch brings a global vision of the highest quality and innovation in communications.
Pathwire's suite of powerful email APIs, innovative email campaign management, and robust email testing is a perfect fit for Sinch. We are pleased to add a business-critical communication channel – email – to the Sinch portfolio for the first time.
After the takeover is complete Sinch will seek to accelerate our efforts to build state-of-the-art, scalable email solutionsDrive further international expansion and task the Pathwire team with building a leadership position in developer-centric cloud communications. Together we will be able to empower over 180,000 businesses to engage their customers like never before – on every channel.

If you are an existing Email on Acid user, rest assured that you will not see any changes to Email on Acid's platform, support or service offerings as we work with the Sinch team to complete the adoption by the expected date Completion moving forward in late 2021. We will continue to operate as a standalone company, but we look forward to offering a wide range of communications APIs in the near future to help you continue your EoA pre-deployment checklist through delivery.
